Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is an advanced, instructor-led classroom course that highlights the importance of: -team management of a cardiac arrest
-team dynamics and communication -systems of care and immediate post-cardiac-arrest care.
Target Group :PACLS is designed for health-care professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies.
The prerequisite for ACLS is a current American Heart Association
BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR card.
And a good working knowledge of Cardiology.
ACLS Course Content Columbus Fire, CPR, CPR classesKey changes in advanced cardiovascular life support,
reflecting the 2025 Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and
Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC)
Basic life-support skills, including effective chest compressions(CPR),
use of a bag-mask device and an automated external defibrillator (AED)
Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest
using a manual defibrillator and equipment commonly found on a crash cart
Recognition and early management of peri-arrest conditions such as:
symptomatic bradycardia
Airway management
Related pharmacology
ACLS
ACLS Management of acute coronary syndromes (ACS)
Effective communication as a member and leader of a resuscitation team

Precourse Requirements
Please note that this class REQUIRES up to 4 hours of precourse work that must be completed prior to attending.
Please allow plenty of time to complete this requirement.
Students arriving to class without the pretest and precourse video course completion certificate will not be admitted and will not be eligible for a refund or rescheduling.
Instructions for accessing the precourse work will be included in the class confirmation email that will be emailed to you when registration is complete.
If you do not receive the orientation after registering please check your junk or spam folder.
Because our classes are limited in size, there is a prepay and NO REFUND policy for our classes.
However, if there is another class available within 30 days, on a different date that works for you,
we will be happy to switch you to a different class at NO charge!
In order to be eligible for rescheduling we must receive your email request no less than 24 hour prior to class.
ACLS (Heartcode Part 2 & 3) Skills Testing $100
The HeartCode Course Completion Certificate must be presented AT the session!
The American Heart Association requires that a printed COPY of your online course completion certificate MUST be presented to the instructor when you arrive to complete the skills testing.
You will be turned away without this document so please make sure you bring it with you on the day of your test.
